Howdy everyone,

I was having some job patc booting up my PC, so I forcefully made it staring the troubleshooting blind. While doing so, I switched off and on from the clitoris of my PSU, at the binding of my case. I did it few times. Anyways, half an hr tardive, while I was playing a video game, PC shut itself toss off out of nowhere. I booted IT up and the same thing happened. Later on messing about inside my case, I figured that it was perfervid. Therefore I concluded that my Microcomputer was closing down due to overheating. I cleaned the dust and kept it off until information technology was cold again. When I restarted, I realised something: the fan downstairs my PSU was working for some prison term, around 5-6 seconds, and was shutting down afterwards that. After staying deactivated for 5-6 seconds, information technology was repetition the same affair. Now my wonder is that, is this loop normal? I mean, can it be automatically turn on and off itself? For example, I figured that information technology kept doing this despite heating leading while playing Bannerlord. Is thither a way to check this, from the software? I really wouldn't like to dress things inside the case.

My spectacles are:
AMD fx 8350 eight-meat processor as Mainframe
AMD RX 580 as GPU
MSI 970 GAMING as the motherboard
12 GB DDR3 RAM
Barbary pirate CX 750M grey-headed label as PSU

From the title I assume you are referring to the PSU fan --- not sure what you mean by "the fan below my PSU"?

When powered on, the PSU fan should spin day in and day out and at a fixed speed.

Please confirm you are referring to the PSU fan?

I am referring to my PSU lover, but I thought that PSU's and fans are two separate parts. This one inside my case seems to Be one unit.

A PSU fan is ever within the PSU, behind a mesh grill on the PSU itself.

Any other fans are either shell fans or CPU/GPU fans.

Fan pointing perfect is o.k. A long as on that point's meaningless space below it for air to waste out from information technology.

Fan pointing down is okay as long as there's empty space under it for air to blow from it.
Alright, no problem on it. What about my sports fan problem? How can I fix this?

If IT's the PSU buff --- supercede the PSU 'cos you in truth should never open a PSU (potentially dangerous).

If it's case fan, IT's quite normal for them to vacillate in speed according to cooling requirements at the time if the fan is connected to motherboard sensing element. Some doubts almost the fan itself, replace IT.

The problem is in the sports fan that is inside my PSU, the fan under the robust bars. Thusly you are relation me that there is no control over this winnow from the software? And I need to replace my PSU?

Yes, PSU essential be replaced. There are no user-servicable parts inside a PSU, and it's wild to fantastic them open anyway (risk of ball over even when IT's unplugged from mains socket).

The PSU fan speed is not harnessed from elsewhere in the system, dead not.

That's what I was afraid of :( Now how am I going to replace this PSU in this quarantine environment. I agaze i side of my case and will play games/run applications that will non use that much power. I hope this will prevent overheating and not cause much permanent impairment to other components. Anyways, thank you!

The biggest reason would be ME. I can't do the substitution because I have utterly no more noesis all but computer hardware working. And from what I detected, PSU's are rather dangerous if you're going to move them around.
